Going through a separation is hard. As a family law lawyer, Cait Zeran’s goal is to make this process a little easier for her clients.

Born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, Cait obtained her Honors B.A. from the University of Guelph with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice & Public Policy before going on to graduate from the University of Ottawa’s Common Law program in 2018. After completing her articles with Legal Aid Ontario, Cait was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019 and began practicing in the areas of family law, civil litigation, criminal law, and wills and estates. Cait was called to the Alberta Bar in 2021 and has been practicing almost exclusively in family law ever since.

Cait is a strong believer in the power of collaboration to resolve family law disputes; however, she is comfortable in the courtroom and is an effective and compassionate advocate for her clients. Her direct, honest, and creative approach to addressing her client’s legal issues, along with her education and experience, make her an asset to any client with family law matters.
