Malcolm Pritchard & Cathy Regier both attended the 50th Annual Refresher in Practice Excellence in Lake Louise from May 7 – 9.  This is an annual conference hosted by LESA (Legal Education Society of Alberta).  Malcolm and Cathy enjoyed the Keynote Address presented by Richard Susskind, an author, speaker and independent adviser to major professional firms and to national governments.

Malcolm was the presenter on a session called Restrictions on Testamentary Freedom.  He spoke to fellow lawyers about estate planning for complicated family structures and situations, such as blended families from death of a spouse or divorce, special needs children, intergenerational businesses and high net worth estates.
