Janis Pritchard

Janis helps people navigate the complexity of separation and divorce. She helps people find solutions that preserve their relationships with their children and protect their financial security. Janis especially likes to work with business lawyers and financial professionals to protect peoples’ wealth and keep their businesses going. Janis helps people who are overwhelmed with their conflict, find the tools to rebuild and the confidence to move on.
Janis’ preferred area of practice is Family Law – Collaborative Divorce and Mediation. Janis was admitted to the Bar of the Law Society of Alberta in 1977. She was an articling student and associate with Parlee Irving in Edmonton from 1976 – 1978. Janis joined Pritchard & Company LLP as an associate in 1978 and became a partner in 1980. Janis regularly attends our satellite office in Brooks.
